JOIN DANA IN TAKING A STAND AGAINST THE NEW CALIFORNIA GAS TAX

TAX REVOLT RALLY

Saturday, November 4th
Noon
Huntington Beach Pier

California's SB-1 went into effect Wednesday, November 1st, increasing the gasoline tax from 18 to 30 cents per gallon, the diesel tax from 16 to 36 cents per gallon, and the sales tax on gas from 5.75% to 9.75%. On Saturday, November 4th Join Dana and other local patriots in standing up against this increase with county-wide protests.

Picture
As we in Washington try to reform our burdensome and convoluted tax system, Governor Brown and the state legislature have just made the Golden State’s tax system even more burdensome and convoluted. That wallop we all felt this week at the gas pump came to us courtesy of the California Democrats’ one-party monopoly.

It is now stunningly evident that the price we pay to fill our tanks is not so much the cost of gasoline itself – now in abundant supply – but is calculated for the benefit of big spending Sacramento politicians, liberal left special interests and greedy bureaucrats. Our bloated state government, long pummeling California’s working people, has finally decided to crush their mobility and their very livelihoods.

This new tax added to the mountain of taxes we already pay is yet another verification that we are working for the politicians in Sacramento and not the other way around.

Four decades ago, Californians launched the first tax revolt. Those fumes emanating from the gas station aisles today are about to fuel the next one.

All the Best,

Dana

It's time for the regular people of California stop accepting what this (not our) State has created that the People need to stand up and be counted to take back California from those who want to destroy it for their own purposes. They want to create a Socialist State or Country if they can. It's up to those of us who believe in the Constitution For the United Sates of America, and also the Original State Constitution to take it back!

Jerry Brown wants his stupid train come hell or high water! No regard what so ever to folks living on fixed incomes. Or small business trying to make a buck. What a collection of dirt balls in Sacramento ... No regard at all for fellow tax payers ... Let's vote them all out of office asap !

How about standing up against the GOP tax plan that will decimate our great State? Keep the SALT deduction as is. Keep the mortgage interest rate deduction as is. Why should corporations make billions on the backs of California tax payers? Where are you on this, Congressman? Will you fight for your constituents?

Fully agree just replied to Sen King about those deductions. Also the new rule on removing committee for Bank complains. I understand those
big class action cases but no reason to take out our right to complain about wrong bank action except with a lawyer. CA is now a lawyer paradise. Need a lawyer to evict invader to your property... . .

I wish that I could be there tomorrow to protest the hike but I will be there in spirit. I was born in California, in Los Angeles, but I am getting so sick of the constant new taxes and the raise in existing taxes that I am getting closer every day to pulling up roots. And, calling something a fee when it is really an illegal tax just makes it all the worse. I've lost all respect for Gov. Brown, what little I had. He has betrayed the citizens of California.

Thank you Congressman for standing up for the people of California and for supporting our President. Our state has become very much to the left with Eric Holder, who has not been elected by the people, seemingly being the influencing control over the governor . The Democrats are violating our rights and taking away our voting privileges by passing these tax rates without voter approval. We need to take back our state.

This gas tax is disgusting. We pay enough to live in California and do not need this tax burden on the people of this State. Sacramento and Mr Jerry Brown should stop spending our hard earned money. Hey Democrats all the freebies that you get from our tax dollars should be given back to our State. Give up all your luxuries i.e., your free cars, free gas fillups, trips, hotels, that also includes your families. And by the way, give up your free healthcare that you receive for life. We don’t get free anything. We work for a living. Stop subsidizing everyone in this State unless you want to pay for illegals that should be deported. This is the worst State I’ve lived in. Wake up people and see what the Left is doing.

How could this gas tax go through without the vote of the citizens of this state? Everyone who supported the bill should not be re-elected to office. There is no accountability that the money will go to fixing up our highways. There needs to be a recall of this tax asap. Adjust the budget by cutting the waste from other programs. We pay the highest taxes where some states have no state tax. Follow their ways so we can stop the bleeding from seniors on fixed incomes as well as the working poor.

Once again CA voters have found out that the droids in Sacramento "DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY WORK FOR!". It is time for the Congressional Representatives to push back on these clowns in Sacramento especially since WE THE PEOPLE, now suffer indefinitely with imbalanced Government, and Fair Government, and Government of the People, By the People, for the People!!! The Current kangaroo Government in this state thinks they can just do anything they want right up to declaring this state of nothing to be "SAFE STATE"! WHAT THAT MEAN IS CA IS AND ALMOST HAS SECEDED FROM THE UNION! As no OTHER STATE IN THE UNION has even considered such BOLD AND AGRESSIVE ACTION TO HARM THE CITIZENS IT SUPPOSEDLY REPRESENTS. So NOW, ALL CA MEMBERS IN BOTH HOUSES OF THE CONGRESS SHOULD BE SCREAMING AND CALLING FOR ALL FEDERAL PROGRAMS TO STOP, ALL MONEY FORWADED TO CA TO CEASE, AND ALL AID TO IT'S CITIZENS CUT OFF, SO THAT CA REALLY GETS THE PAIN IT DESERVES FOR SUCH A STUPID INSENSITIVE ACTION TAKEN IN BOTH SEATS OF GOVERNMENT IN THE LEGISLATURE AND ALSO IN THE GOVERNORS OFFICE. IT IS TIME TO MAKE CA PAY OR FORCE THEM TO REPEAL THIS ACTION THAT IMBALANCED GOVERNMENT HAS BROUGHT TO THE CITIZENS OF THIS STATE. The Entire body of Legislators who voted for this SAFE STATE action should be CENSURED, FINED, AND WARNED, AS THIS CLEARLY IS NOT WHAT IS INTENDED BY "GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE" within both HOUSES OF THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF CA! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! DANA PLEASE RALLY CONGRESS AND LETS GET THE BALL ROLLING TO TAKE ACTION NOW, NOT LATER! Thank you!!!

My impression of the state government is that it is corrupt in every way. Not does the gas tax need to be set back, the Sacramento shrunk up. The multi billion dollar train to no where is only one example of something that should not be. Sales taxes,, and property taxes are also way too high. Why should these people be getting rich by getting elected to Sacramento?
