My Meeting with Julian Assange

There is a lot of misinformation floating out there regarding my meeting with Julian Assange so let me provide some clarity on the matter:

At no time did I talk to President Trump about Julian Assange. Likewise, I was not directed by Trump or anyone else connected with him to meet with Julian Assange. I was on my own fact finding mission at personal expense to find out information I thought was important to our country. I was shocked to find out that no other member of Congress had taken the time in their official or unofficial capacity to interview Julian Assange. At no time did I offer Julian Assange anything from the President because I had not spoken with the President about this issue at all. However, when speaking with Julian Assange, I told him that if he could provide me information and evidence about who actually gave him the DNC emails, I would then call on President Trump to pardon him. At no time did I offer a deal made by the President, nor did I say I was representing the President. Upon my return, I spoke briefly with Gen. Kelly. I told him that Julian Assange would provide information about the purloined DNC emails in exchange for a pardon. No one followed up with me including Gen. Kelly and that was the last discussion I had on this subject with anyone representing Trump or in his Administration.

Even though I wasn't successful in getting this message through to the President I still call on him to pardon Julian Assange, who is the true whistleblower of our time. Finally, we are all holding our breath waiting for an honest investigation into the murder of Seth Rich.

Hi Dana. Thank you so much for your initiative to uncover the truth and the facts. I am wondering if Julian Assange made any assertions to you that he had actual proof of who the DNC hacks were perpetrated by (not just an unconfirmed claim). To my mind, someone like him, a tech expert who understands cryptography, message authentication codes, network communication, IP masking, etc. would be thinking of proof along these lines, i.e. digitally traceable, or possibly mathematically verifiable, proof. If he has such proof, then in my view he must be allowed to present it to the world.

I don’t believe these claims. The president is a liar and this guy probably is too. If Assange said it I would believe him over any republican liar.

There's a reason why the left said IT'S ILLEGAL TO READ WIKILEAKS, it's because democrats lie 100% of the time about EVERYTHING .

Democrats have accused Trump of seventeen thousand four hundred and sixty two crimes over the last 3 years , guess how many turned out to be true ?

Thank you for the clarification, and for your work on this issue. Getting to the bottom of what really happened with the DNC emails may not be in the interests of many Washington insiders, and I don't only include Democrats! The blame-Russia-for-everything outlook is extremely dangerous, as it has created tensions with the world's largest other nuclear superpower, for no reason.

The slow murder of Assange, being carried in the UK, is a travesty.

Did Mueller ever contact Assange to ask how WikiLeaks received the DNC emails?

Hi Dana - I have a crazy theory I wanted to share. I think Pizzagate was created to obscure Seth's murder. They both started around the same time, and they got lumped together - so that whenever someone tried to rationally discuss Seth's murder, they'd instantly get labelled a crazy Pizzagate guy, and the conversation would get shut down.

At no point did he say he was acting on orders of the president to bribe Assange. He said he talked to someone in the White House after his meeting, which he did, which was General Kelly as mentioned in the video you linked

@Richard: Nothing in that televised interview that you just linked to contradicts what Rohrabacher wrote in this blog post. Can you be more specific?

I hope you are telling the truth Dana, It is obvious Seth Rich was murdered. Way too much info out there to think otherwise if you have common sense. Sounds to me like things are starting to heat up. Stay safe.
